OUR STORY

Original invention.
Continuing development.

Navigator Lifts is a UK manufacturer of self-powered access platforms, helping people carry out installation, maintenance and other everyday tasks at height.

Our story starts with the invention behind the original Navigator platform. Today, we hold the intellectual property rights to that original product line and continue to develop the range with its inventor, Michael Brown, providing expertise as our Technical Consultant.

That connection brings knowledge of the original engineering into the development of each new model, while keeping our focus on the practical demands of working at height.

From the compact Scout to the Navigator 6.0, our approach is consistent: make access straightforward, design around the working environment, and build safety into the equipment.

THE NAVIGATOR APPROACH

Why mechanical
makes a difference.

Turning a handle controls elevation, without relying on batteries or an external power supply. A practical approach when equipment is shared, power is limited or work continues across shifts.

01

No charging
downtime

No waiting for a battery to recharge between jobs.

02

Powered by
the operator

No electricity or fuel is needed to elevate the platform.

03

No hydraulic
lifting system

No hydraulic oil is needed to raise the platform.

04

No exhaust
emissions in use

Mechanical elevation without a combustion engine.

SAFETY THROUGH THOUGHTFUL DESIGN

Considered in
the details.

We believe safety should be considered in the details of the machine.

A distinctive feature of the Navigator range is the vertical anti-climb guardrail design, which removes the horizontal mid-rail that could otherwise be used as a foothold.

Alongside this, our platforms incorporate braking, controlled elevation and protective features appropriate to each model. Equipment design works together with operator training, correct selection and regular inspection.

Our focus is on helping people work within a protected platform, with the right equipment for the task.

BUILT AROUND YOUR WORKPLACE

Start with the job.
Find the right lift.

Choosing the right lift starts with the height you need to work at, the space available, the tools you need alongside you and the conditions where the platform will be used.

We can help you work through those requirements and arrange a demonstration.
