Privacy Policy · Updated 30 October 2026

Who we are

Navigator Lifts Ltd is responsible for the personal information you provide to Navigator through this website. For privacy questions, contact website@navigatorlifts.com. For product or training enquiries, use our Contact page.

Information you provide

Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, enquiry type, selected model and message. Phone number and business are optional. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.

The online training exam collects your name, email, optional business, selected model, answers, score, completion time and assessment record identifier. The result is an online knowledge assessment record, not an operator certificate.

How we use it

We use enquiry information to answer questions, provide product advice and quotations, arrange demonstrations and handle support requests. We use exam information to record and review the assessment attempt and respond to training enquiries.

You choose whether to submit a form. We ask for your agreement before sending its information. Handling a request may also be necessary to take steps you ask us to take before a contract, or for our legitimate interests in responding to customers and providing product support. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Submitting an enquiry or completing the exam does not sign you up for marketing. The exam calculates a score from your selected answers; it does not automatically authorise you to operate equipment.

Services and sharing

Contact enquiries and exam results are sent through Formspree to Navigator. Formspree stores submissions according to the account settings and service plan. Read Formspree’s privacy policy. Formspree processes information in the United States and other countries where it operates. Contact Navigator to ask about retention or deletion. Copies in Navigator’s mailbox are separate records.

The website hosting provider processes information needed to serve and protect the site. This WordPress website is hosted by GoDaddy. Enquiries and assessment notifications are delivered to Navigator’s Microsoft 365 email service, administered by BPC Electronics Ltd. These hosting, access and email providers process information needed to deliver and protect those services. Third-party processing locations and arrangements are governed by the relevant providers; contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your enquiry.

We may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell the details you submit through these forms.

Keeping information

We keep enquiries and assessment records for as long as needed to respond to the request, provide relevant support and deal with any associated obligations or disputes. The purpose of the record and any ongoing relationship determine how long it is needed. Submissions stored in Formspree and copies delivered to our Microsoft 365 mailbox are separate records. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request its deletion.

Form and exam information is held in the current browser page while you complete it. The redesigned site does not save these fields to browser local storage. A downloaded result record is saved on your device and is under your control. The optional arcade game stores only your best score in your browser’s local storage (navigator-climb-best). You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information, and may object to processing. In particular, you can object where we rely on legitimate interests. Contact website@navigatorlifts.com to make a request or withdraw consent.

You can contact us with a concern about our use of your information. You also have the right to raise a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: contact the ICO.

Website access and links

The hosting and access providers may process technical connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, and use cookies necessary to serve and protect the site. Our hosting and security services process technical information to deliver the website, prevent misuse and protect accounts. If you sign in to WordPress, cookies keep you signed in and remember relevant preferences. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may affect these functions.

Links to external services, email applications and the ICO are governed by their own privacy practices. We will update this page when the website’s forms or data handling change.
